In-shed Displays:

When you want to know something in-shed, look no further than MilkHubs In-shed Displays. The In-shed Displays provide you direct access to a deep pool of cow and plant information. There are two types of displays available with the MilkHub system. For the data driven farmer there is the large 82mm Broadcast Screen capable of delivering large quantities of data at lightning speeds. The smaller 5 Character LED Alert Display is targeted at the farmer who is interested in the most important relevant information. Both displays have access to an in-shed alert sounder and are designed to be visible from long distances. The main difference between the two is the amount of data that is displayed.

With the power of MilkHub you can have more than one display. This provides more access points around the shed to view information. For example, you could have a display at the cups on position and an additional display visible between cups off and the vet position. Having multiple displays also means that you can display twice the amount of information or direct certain information to each display. For example the Vet may want to see treatment information, cow age and breeding information, whereas at the cups on  position you may only want to see mastitis prediction, yield and weight information. Information can be customised by you at anytime via the online management system.

The In-shed Displays are your first point of call when you want to know something in the shed.

Broadcast Screen:

The Broadcast Screen is a powerhouse of in-shed information, allowing you to view vital cow information on a large 82mm screen. The Broadcast Screen contains a 3D model of your rotary platform and displays information directly onto this model. This makes it easy to switch between what you see in-shed and what you see on-screen.

The Broadcast Screen displays a wide range of information including cow number, draft direction, treatment history, alerts, plant and cleaning performance to name just a few. What you want to see on-screen depends on the time of season and what you are doing on the farm. The information displayed on-screen can be configured by you from the Web Management System.

MilkHub also makes it easy for you to manage your herd from the shed. Using the MilkHub Keypad or Pull-Cord you can input new information, update treatment details or mark cows for drafting. The Broadcast Screen makes these inputs easy with on-screen guides and options.

There are many different views the Broadcast Screen can show.  For example staff can switch between the cleaning, cleaning summary, plant summary, general summary and cow detail views. MilkHub is constantly developing and adding to the system, answering the needs of our customers.

5 Character LED Display:

The primary use of the 5 Character LED Alert Display is for cow alerts. There are three main types of alerts that the 5 Character LED Alert Display the alerts identify if a particular cow is likely to have mastitis, low yield or is missing her tags. As a cow enters or exits the platform her EID number is checked against the system for a corresponding alert. If the system finds she has an alert, one or more actions can happen depending on your MilkHub setup. Alerts give workers enough time to decide which course of action to take for a particular cow.

The most important use of the 5 Character LED Alert Display is for alerts for cows during milking. However, the display can also be set up to provide background information when there are no alerts. There are three background display modes, blank, cow count and visual ID mode. The cow count background mode shows a current cow count from the start of each milking. This mode excludes cows that go around the platform twice. The visual ID background mode alternates between the cows visual ID number and the bail she is in. If both of these modes are turned off the display reverts to the blank background mode. In this mode nothing is displayed between alerts.

The 5 Character LED Alert Display can also be set up to show the current temperature of a reference bail during cleaning. This is useful as a quick check in the cleaning process, making sure that the hot water wash has sufficient temperature to melt milk fat solids.

The MilkHub Displays are vital In-shed Management tools that provide you with direct access to your data, while helping you manage your herd effectively with alerts and accurate information.
