As a cow approaches the gate, the cows EID tag is read by the inbuilt EID reader. The cows’ number is then checked against your local MilkHub database where any automatic or manual draft details are stored. The database then informs the gate whether to let the cow pass straight through, draft her left or right. This process happens almost instantly and the cow is drafted, ready to be inspected after milking.
